ZUMBA CLASS TO BE HELD AT MCKINLEY MIDDLE SCHOOL
RACINE - McKinley Middle School will host a Zumbathon from 6:30-8 p.m. Friday at McKinley Middle School, 2340 Mohr Ave.
Zumba is a Latin-inspired fitness and dance program.
All proceeds will support McKinley Middle School performing arts and international travel. Everyone is welcome. Tickets are $7 and can be purchased at the door. Attendees are asked to enter through the activities entrance in the back of the McKinley Middle School parking lot.
PRINCE OF PEACE PRESCHOOL, CHILD CARE HOSTS CHRISTMAS COOKIE WALK AND HOLIDAY FAIR
RACINE - A Christmas cookie walk and holiday fair will be from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday at Prince of Peace Preschool and Child Care Center, 4340 6 Mile Road. The choir performance begins at 11 a.m.
Cookie selections are $8 per pound, cash only. Unique gifts will be available at the holiday fair.
The preschool and child care center along with the church board of education are hosting this event.
STUDENT COUNCIL HOLDS ANNUAL BLOOD DRIVE
RAYMOND - The Student Council will hold its sixth annual blood drive from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday in the small gym at Raymond School, 2659 S. 76th St.

BARNES & NOBLE FUNDRAISER SET MONDAY FOR ST. JOHN'S LUTHERAN SCHOOL
RACINE - The St. John's Lutheran School Barnes & Noble Fundraiser Day will be Monday at Barnes & Noble Booksellers, 2710 S. Green Bay Road.
A percentage of all the sales will be donated between 9 a.m. and 11 p.m. to benefit St. John's Lutheran School. At the time of checkout, let the cashiers know you are shopping for St. John's Lutheran School.
HORLICK HIGH SCHOOL SET TO HOLD CHEERLEADING CLINIC
RACINE - The 12th annual Horlick High School Cheerleading Clinic will be held Dec. 10 at Horlick High School, 2119 Rapids Drive.
All participants will learn the basic fundamentals of cheerleading. Horlick High School varsity cheerleaders will teach a variety of cheers, jumps and a short dance for each session. Team-building activities will be included for participants with numerous performances of different cheerleading stunts by the Horlick High School cheerleaders. Participants will receive a clinic T-shirt. Snacks will be provided. All participants are invited to perform at halftime during a Horlick boys' varsity basketball game (date to be announced).
The cost of the clinic is $25 per participant. The sessions are as follows: 9:30 a.m. to noon for kindergarten through fourth-grade students and 1-3:30 p.m. for fifth- through eighth-grade students. The deadline to register is Friday. For more information, email email@example.com
THEATER AUDITIONS SET TO BE HELD AT PARK HIGH SCHOOL
RACINE - The Park High School Theatre Department is looking for fourth- through eighth-grade students to audition for the musical, "Joseph And The Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat," for the youth chorus. Any ninth- through 12th-grade students who are not Park High School students are also welcome to audition (especially males). The auditions are held from 6-9 p.m. Dec. 7-8 for the youth chorus, and will consist of singing a song and learning a dance routine. An accompanist will be provided. High school students will sing from 3-5:30 p.m. and then learn the dance routine and dance from 6-9 p.m. Students who audition should wear comfortable clothes to dance in.
The auditions will be held in the John Burns Theatre at the school, 1901 12th St. For more information, call Jay Rattle at (262) 619-4439. Rehearsals will begin in January 2012.
