Nathan Davis inducted into honor society
TALLAHASSEE, Fla. — Nathan Davis was inducted in Tallahassee Community College’s chapter of Phi Theta Kappa, the international honor society of two-year colleges.
Inductees must have a grade point average of 3.5 or higher and complete required service hours.
Rachel Novak showcases research
KENNESAW, Ga. — Kennesaw State University is being represented by nearly 100 students, including Burlington’s Rachel Novak at the 2018 National Conference on Undergraduate Research in Edmond, Okla. More than 4,000 students from 400 colleges and universities presented their research April 4-7 at the annual conference.
Kennesaw State undergraduate students showcased their research on a variety of subjects, including architecture, art, biology, chemistry, computer science, engineering, psychology and public health. Seven of Kennesaw State University’s academic colleges were represented at the National Conference on Undergraduate Research.
The National Conference on Undergraduate Research gives participants the opportunity to work with faculty mentors and present their scholarly abstracts and creative works in a formal, professional setting. It also provides students a chance to interact, prepare for graduate school and enhance their workforce skills.
