There was a report of a robbery on Tuesday evening at the MetroPCS dealer in the 1700 block of State Street in Racine. 

RACINE — Racine police are continuing to investigate a report of an armed robbery at the MetroPCS dealer located in the 1700 block of State Street, according to Racine Police Sgt. Adam Malacara.

It occurred at approximately 6:35 p.m. on Tuesday. 

One suspect reportedly entered the store, displayed a handgun and fled the scene with an undisclosed amount of money, Malacara said. A second suspect may have been waiting outside the store. 

The suspects reportedly fled the scene eastbound on West Street, according to police radio reports. No suspect information has been released at this time.

As of Wednesday morning, no was in custody. The investigation is ongoing.
