RACINE — The Racine Police Department is investigating a recent strong-arm robbery involving a handgun.

At 1:57 a.m. Tuesday, officers responded to the 2100 block of Dwight Street, just north of Durand Avenue, on the report of an armed robbery. The offender reportedly pointed a handgun at the victim and demanded money.

Police on Tuesday morning said it was not known whether the offender was able to get anything from the victim.

No one was in custody and the investigation is ongoing, police said, as of 9:15 a.m. Tuesday.
