MOUNT PLEASANT — A Racine man was arrested after police found him “highly intoxicated” and driving an ice cream truck while blasting the music early in the morning Monday.

Albert A. Amaya, 57, was arrested on pending charges of operating a vehicle while intoxicated after police received a report someone was driving the ice cream truck at 1:52 a.m. Monday with the music blasting in the 5600 block of Regency Hills Drive, according to Mount Pleasant police.

Responding officers found the ice cream truck in the middle of the road with the ice cream music still playing, police said.

When officers asked what he was doing, he apparently told them he was selling ice cream.
