“The Morning Show” airs every weekday morning between 8:10 and 9 a.m. Following is a schedule of show topics for the coming week:

Monday — The show’s guests will be Dr. James Kinchen of UW-Parkside and Dr. Eduardo Garcia-Novelli of Carthage College, each of whom is Director of Choral Activities at their respective schools. They’ll be previewing their upcoming holiday concerts.

Tuesday — Joining the show will be Colin Dickey, author of “Cranioklepty,” which explores the fascinating history of phrenology, a prominent pseudo-science in the 18th and 19th centuries, which involved the analysis of human skulls in the belief that such study would reveal secrets relating to genius and greatness — and the astonishing lengths to which some phrenologists went to secure the skulls of such legendary figures as Mozart and Haydn.

Wednesday — Learn about Michael Jackson in his earlier solo career from Todd Grey, who was his personal photographer for almost a decade. He has just released a book about the experience titled, “Michael Jackson: Before He Was King.”

Thursday — The last day on the job for Wisconsin Public Radio’s Jim Fleming will feature an airing of a newly recorded interview with him in which he discusses his 40-year association with WPR. Also, UW-Parkside theater professor Jamie Cheatham talks about Arthur Miller’s powerful “All My Sons,” which opens Dec. 4.

Friday — Mick Burke, business reporter at The Journal Times, will talk about the difficulties experienced recently by the Bank of Elmwood. Burke wrote a series of articles about the situation in the newspaper.

WGTD’s Saturday programming includes “Financial Overview” at 9 a.m., “Breakfast Bytes” at 9:45 a.m., “Education Matters” at 10:30 a.m. and “Community Matters” at 11:15 a.m.
