IVES GROVE - County executive candidate and County Supervisor Ken Hall and County Supervisor Ken Lumpkin have recommended downsizing the Racine County Board from 23 supervisors to 19.

Along with this move, the Intergovernmental Committee would be eliminated and the Public Works Committee would be folded into Economic Development and Land Use Planning.

Reducing the board's size to 19 would save $71,000 in personnel and travel costs, according to a news release from Hall and Lumpkin.
