RACINE — Nine people have thrown in their names to become the next 10th District Alderman.

One of them will likely fill the spot Tom Friedel vacated when he became city administrator.

The list is: Jamie Anderson; Donald Dwyer; Thomas Gursky, Jr.; Geraldine Larson; Melissa Lindgren; Curtis Lockrem; Dave Martin; Kelli Stein and Dennis Wiser.

The city did not provide resumés for the nine candidates when an open records request was made Tuesday.

The Committee of the Whole is scheduled to meet about the aldermanic seat 5:30 p.m. Wednesday at City Hall, 730 Washington Ave., Room 205. The committee’s recommendation will be forwarded to the City Council for a vote.
