KENOSHA — Carthage College Theatre will stage “The Glass Menagerie” at 7:30 p.m. today and Saturday in Studio Theatre of the David A. Straz Jr. Center for the Natural and Social Sciences at Carthage College, 2001 Alford Park Drive.

Journey up the fire escape and into the Wingfield household as Tom shows the audience “truth in a pleasant disguise of illusion.” Tom’s mother, Amanda, is lost in recollections of her days as a southern belle, and projects impossible standards on her shy daughter Laura. Crippled in body and spirit, Laura dotes upon a world of fragile glass animals, but Amanda’s hopes and dreams for Laura start to seem possible when Tom brings home a gentleman caller for his sister.

Admission is $12 for adults and $8 for students and senior citizens. To reserve tickets, call (262) 551-6661.
