RACINE — Spectrum Gallery, located in the east building of the DeKoven Center, 600 21st St., will host its annual “Wear A Heart — Get Some Art!” exhibit through March 4.

This is Spectrum’s valentine to Racine, as anyone wearing a heart (on their sleeve or elsewhere) will be able to choose a free piece of art (one per person as supplies last) in specified areas in the gallery. Those who do not have a heart will be given one.

Spectrum Gallery artists will feature an exhibition in the Lake Room that is very loosely based on love, with many of the works for sale. In addition to these festivities, the Wisconsin Donor Network will be on hand at the opening to give out information and sign up organ donors. There will also be demonstrations of “Just Hands” resuscitation in the Rainbow Room.

Spectrum Gallery is open from noon to 4 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays and by appointment. Call 262-634-4345.
