RACINE — “Goodnight Lulu” is the next Racine Children’s Theatre play and will be held Friday through Sunday, March 17-19, at the Racine Theatre Guild, 2519 Northwestern Ave.
Lulu and Momma live in a chicken coop on Farmer Paul’s farm. While the coop is being painted, they have to sleep in the barn. The big, dark building leaves Lulu feeling nervous and scared as she worries about bears, tigers and alligators coming in during the night. Momma, Farmer Paul and the audience all work to teach Lulu how to be strong and brave from head to toe. Silly knock-knock jokes and fun songs create a lighthearted and sweet story.false
The Sunset Playhouse Bug in a Rug Productions will perform the story. The cast features Christopher Elst as Framer Paul, Andrea Moser as Momma and Liz Mistele as Lulu.
Children 10 and younger are encouraged to wear pajamas and bring blankets. Packy, the Racine Children’s Theatre elephant mascot, will greet the audience and they will have the chance to meet the cast and get autographs after the show.false
Shows are at 5:30 and 7:30 p.m. Friday, and noon, 2 and 4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. Tickets cost $6. Call 262-633-4218 or go to www.racinetheatre.org.
