RACINE — The annual St. Patrick’s Day Party will be held from 5 to 9 p.m. Saturday, March 17, in St. Patrick’s Catholic Church parish hall, 1111 Douglas Ave.
Admission includes corned beef and cabbage or O’Tacos, dessert and beverage. Other beverages will be sold. Entertainment includes the Glencastle Irish Dancers, music and song by Macyn Taylor and the Pot of Gold raffle.
Each year, the parish honors a church volunteer as the Irish Person of the Year. This year, Judy Somers will be honored with the annual title and a plaque at about 8 p.m. Somers was a leading figure in the merger of St. Patrick and Cristo Rey churches. She continues to be active with the English and Spanish church members, and volunteers in various capacities at the church.
Admission is $12 for adults and $5 for children ages 6-11. There is no charge for ages 5 and younger. Food service begins at 5:30 p.m. and the raffle drawing is at 8:30 p.m.
