GROCERY STORE TOUR: Participants will learn how to shop smart and improve overall health. Ascension All Saints Hospital registered dietitians will divide the grocery store section by section covering fresh and canned produce, deli and meats, grains, dairy, frozen entrees and snack foods. Focus will be on learning how to read and understand nutrition labels, heart health and weight management strategies for healthier living. 5:45-7:30 p.m. Wednesday, March 14, Pick ’N Save, 1202 N. DIABETES EDUCATION SERIES: REDUCE YOUR STRESS TO LOWER YOUR BLOOD SUGAR: Diabetes educators will discuss how the reduction of stress can improve a person’s blood sugar levels. The hospital chaplain will discuss strategies to reduce stress and overcome barriers that can affect diabetes management. 4:30-6 p.m. Thursday, March 15, Ascension All Saints Hospital Racine Room, 3801 Spring St. (lower level). HEALTHY LIVING WITH DIABETES: This researched and proven workshop is designed to help adults with type 2 diabetes or pre-diabetes learn skills and increase their confidence in managing their diabetes. 1-3:30 p.m. Thursdays, March 8-April 12. Fee: $10.

HEARTSAVER CPR/AED: This class uses the updated 2015 American Heart Association’s CPR course for the lay person. Featuring in-person classroom training and skill review including adult, child CPR, choking management and AED with the option for infant CPR and choking management. 8 a.m.-noon Saturday, March 10. Fee: $50.

HOW OLD IS YOUR HEART — SNIPPETS OF HEALTH FOR SENIORS: Participants will learn what they can do to lower their heart age. 10:30-11:30 a.m. Wednesday, March 14. Free.

City of Racine

ZUMBA FITNESS CLASSES: The Racine Parks, Recreation and Cultural Services Department offers sessions of Zumba Fitness at Racine’s five community centers. These ongoing classes, created by Colombian dancer/choreographer Alberto Perez, incorporates hip hop, soca, samba, salsa, merengue and mambo dance to create an aerobic workout. Participants of all levels of fitness and dance experience are welcome. The schedule:
