RACINE — The Racine Public Library, 75 Seventh St., is offering these free events:

Minecraft Open Labs, 5-6 p.m. Monday and Wednesday, Dec. 4 and 6. Children in grades four through eight may build on the library’s Minecraft served. Limited spots are available and registration is required.

Hour of Code, 5-6 p.m. Tuesday and Thursday, Dec. 5 and 7. Children in grades four through eight will celebrate Computer Science Education Week by learning about computer coding. Registration is required.

Holiday Stories and Crafts, 6 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 7. The Youth Services Department will host stories. Children may also create holiday gifts.

Between you and Me Book Group, 6-8 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 7. “The Short and Tragic Life of Robert Peace: A Brilliant Young Man Who Left Newark for the Ivy League” by Jeff Hobbs will be discussed.

WATERFORD — The Waterford Public Library, 101 N. River St., will offer these free events:

Teen Advisory Board meeting, 10-11 a.m. today, Dec. 2. Meeting for teens to assist with children’s department projects, give input on teen programming, and share love of reading and books with like-minded teens.

Read to Tammy, 10-11 a.m. today, Dec. 2. Children can sign up for 15-minute time slots to read to a specially-trained therapy dog. Reservations are required.

Hearing Screenings for Seniors, 1-3 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 7, by Avada Hearing Center. Registration is required.

Holiday Music at the Library, 4:30-6 p.m. Friday, Dec. 8.
