RACINE — Keystone Heating and AC Co. Inc. is participating in the sixth annual Heat U.P. Wisconsin program. The company is seeking nominees who could use a new furnace for their home.
The project, sponsored by the Wisconsin and Upper Michigan Lennox Dealers, is a way of giving back to communities. “We’re local and we care about this community and the people who live here,” noted Dave Katt, president of Keystone Heating and Air Conditioning Company Inc. “We’re looking for a family who could use a helping hand, perhaps a veteran, an elder, a disabled person or someone who just needs help, and we’re calling on our community members to help us.”
Interested participants should explain why they or someone they know are deserving of a new furnace. To enter, go to www.heatupwisconsin.com or stop by Keystone Heating, 2707 Durand Ave., to pick up a form. The submission deadline is Aug. 28. The selected winner will receive a new furnace installed free of charge on Oct. 3.
This project is supported by Lennox Industries, who plan to donate up to 100 furnaces, Keystone Heating, who will supply installation materials, and its employees who are donating their time and labor.
