CALEDONIA — The Eco-Justice Center is hosting four bird walks in May at Cliffside Park, 7320 Michna Road.
The schedule: May 1 and 15, 5:30 p.m., and May 8 and 22, 8 a.m. Attendees should meet at parking area No. 2.Â
Warblers, orioles, tanagers and hummingbirds, along with many others, will be returning to their breeding grounds after a long migration.
The free bird walks will be led by Rick Fare, a lifetime member of Bluebird Restoration Association of Wisconsin, bluebird trail coordinator for Racine and Kenosha counties, past president and current education chair for Hoy Audubon Society. Fare has been an active birdwatcher for more than 35 years.
