Emily Hebron and Matthew Gilanyi were united in marriage Aug. 26 by the Rev. Gene Doda. The 1 p.m. ceremony was in St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, Waterford.
Parents of the bride are Melvin and Karen Hebron of Raymond. The bride is the granddaughter of Ardine Hebron of Raymond, and Richard and Marcia Huening of Waterford.
The groom’s parents are Greg and Lori Gilanyi of Burlington. The groom is the grandson of Allen and Chris Martin of Franklin.
Matron of honor was Jessica Machi, sister of the bride. Maid of honor was Madeline Carney. Bridesmaids were Amy Gilanyi (groom’s sister), Breanna Huening (bride’s cousin), Leah Ryder (bride’s sister), Kassidy Jo Ohmstede, Melissa Stich and Alice Fitzpatrick. Flower girl was Faith Buss, cousin of the groom.
Best man was Eric Zeman. Groomsmen were Nate Gilanyi (groom’s brother), Richard Hebron (bride’s brother), Dennis Hebron (bride’s brother), Chase Robers, Zach Martin, Joey Gesteland and Jack Simenson. Ring bearers were Leonard Machi and Melvin Machi, nephews of the bride.
Tom Neave and Casey Merrill were the ushers.
The reception was held at the University of Wisconsin-Parkside Student Center, Somers.
Emily and Matthew, both 23, live in Greenfield. The groom is a firefighter and paramedic for Milwaukee County.
