William Kornwolf and Vadim Pazdnikov were married during a 4 p.m. ceremony Dec. 9 in Naples, Fla. The Rev. Tony Fisher officiated in the chapel of the Unitarian Church. The grooms exchanged matching gold wedding bands, and for their wedding song they chose “This I Promise You” by NSYNC.
Ring bearers were Marcilene Greer and Barbara Schaffer. Michael Kornwolf, nephew of William, served as an usher.
The reception followed at the Naples Convention Center.
The newlyweds are planning an extended honeymoon to St. Petersburg, Russia, after the Christmas holiday season.
The couple is living in Naples. Vadim is originally from Siberia (Novosibirsk) Russia. He graduated from Moscow State University with a degree in engineering. He is employed as an environmental consultant for Novo Nordisk Corp. William graduated from the University of Wisconsin with a degree in elementary education and speech pathology. He taught in various Racine elementary schools (West Ridge, Lincoln and Knapp) before relocating to Naples. William is employed as an international buyer for Dock Side Imports.
