Mrs. Celeste Trentadue of 3217 Caledonia St. will celebrate her 90th birthday with family and friends at St. John Nepomuk Parish Center.
The former Celeste Filpi was born on Jan. 11, 1928, in Racine.
She married Anthony “Tony” Trentadue on May 17, 1947, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. He died on Nov. 27, 1976.
Mrs. Trentadue owned Douglas Park Grocery Store, and was then employed by North Side Pharmacy for many years.
Mrs. Trentadue is a member of St. John Nepomuk Catholic Church, where she was a Eucharistic minister and a long-time member of the Christian Mothers.
She likes to cook for her family and dance. Mrs. Trentadue earned her 5,000 Hour Award as a volunteer for Wheaton Franciscan All Saints.
She has seven children: Angelo (Barbara), Anthony (Penny), Celeste (Bob) Henken, Kathy (Dave) Venegas, Cynthia Bojcic and Colleen Trentadue, all of Racine, and the late James Trentadue. Mrs. Trentadue has 15 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.
