Mrs. Ada Mae Sattler of 8600 Corporate Drive will celebrate her 90th birthday Nov. 17.
The former Ada Mae Wagner was born on Nov. 17, 1927, in Racine.
She married George Sattler Jr. on Oct. 8, 1949, at Atonement Lutheran Church. He died on May 17, 2002.
Mrs. Sattler, a Park High School graduate, was employed by Webster Electric Co., and then Piggly Wiggly for 32 years.
She is a member of Park High School social clubs, Harmony Club of Racine and the Senior Friendship Center of Living Faith Lutheran Church, where she is a member. Mrs. Sattler enjoys singing her favorite song, “Clare De Loon,” playing bingo, entertaining and crafts.
Mrs. Sattler is charismatic and considered the “life of the party.” Her favorite dessert is key lime pie.
Mrs. Sattler has four children: Pamela (Kevin) Ehnert of Sturtevant, Bonnie (Tim) Ebben and Dave (Rebecca) of Racine, and the late Peggy (Ken of Sturtevant) Hilgers. She has 13 grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. Another great-grandchild is expected in April.
