Mrs. Phyllis Poelman of Racine celebrated her 90th birthday during a party in her honor at Buckets Pub.
The former Phyllis Kintzler was born on April 23, 1928, in Racine.
She married Herman Poelman on June 28, 1950, in Racine. He died in 2004.
Mrs. Poelman was employed by Lake Electric Motors for 18 years.
Mrs. Poelman volunteered with Preservation Racine for many years. She loves a great craft fair, chatting with friends and family, traveling, listening to live music, dancing and a good fish fry on a Friday night.
Mrs. Poelman is a member of First Evangelical Lutheran Church.
She has four children: Logan of Minneapolis, Minn.; Lance of Warwick, N.Y.; Kyle (Deanna) of Franksville; and Kurt (Dona) of Raymond. She has eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
