Mrs. Dorothy K. Frahm of Artisan Assisted Living in Mount Pleasant (formerly of Yorkville) will celebrate her 95th birthday Oct. 14 at a small family gathering at her residence.
The former Dorothy K. Lauber was born Oct. 14, 1922, in Yorkville. She lived in Yorkville her entire life until moving to Killarney Kourt in Sturtevant in 2007 where she made many wonderful friends. She moved to Artisan in April.
Dorothy married George H. Frahm on Dec. 16, 1944, at Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church in Raymond. He died Dec. 14, 2001.
Mrs. Frahm is a past member of Trinity Lutheran Ladies Aid. She was a school volunteer, and made and sold stuffed animals. Mrs. Frahm and her husband were members of the Dudes and Dolls Square Dance Club and they used to enjoy traveling. She is a Milwaukee Brewers and Green Bay Packers fan, and loves spending time with her family.
Mrs. Frahm is a member of Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, Union Grove.
She has four children: Robert (Gail) of West Hartford, Conn.; Bonnie (Don) Amundson of Racine; Jean (Darryl) DeGraff of Lincoln, Neb., and Kevin (Sherry) of Muskego. Mrs. Frahm has 13 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
