Henry D. Anderson of Elmwood Park will celebrate his 90th birthday at a luncheon with family and relatives.
Anderson was born Oct. 12, 1927, in Racine.
He married Eleanor Healy on June 17, 1950, at First Presbyterian Church in Cambria, Wis.
Anderson was owner of Brannum Lumber Co. from February of 1953 to December of 1990 when he retired. He started working for Jim Brannum at Caledonia Lumber Co. in 1951.
Anderson loved to play sports. He played baseball, basketball and football for Union Grove High School and many community leagues, and was an avid golfer after retirement.
Anderson is a member of Calvary Memorial Church. He served on many church and community boards and organizations, and led and worked with a church high school group for more than 30 years.
Anderson and his wife have two children: Sue Ellen (Keith) Bailey of Racine and Dale (Jean) of Menomonee Falls. The couple has five grandchildren.
