SOMERS — The University of Wisconsin-Parkside Foreign Film Series continues with the 2016 French film, “Elle,” with six showings Oct. 12-15 in the UW-Parkside Student Cinema, 900 Wood Road.

A successful businesswoman gets caught up in a game of cat and mouse as she tracks down the unknown man who raped her. Isabelle Huppert’s performance in this complex, compassionate and often corrosively funny film earned her a Best Actress award in 20 film festivals around the world.

Screenings are at 7:30 p.m. Thursday and Friday, 5 and 8 p.m. Saturday, and 2 and 5 p.m. Sunday. Season tickets cost $27, $25 for students and seniors. Season tickets include three free guest passes. Tickets are not sold for individual films. Go to www.uwp.edu/foreignfilms or call 262-595-2307.
