RACINE - Sixteenth Street Studios, 1405 16th St., presents its first "Juried Exhibition" in its urban loft Gallery on 16th through March 29. An artist reception will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday, March 15.

This is the first exhibit inviting artists from the community to enter work. A total of 46 items were chosen by juror Chet Griffith from 89 pieces entered by 36 artists. Griffith is owner of Artworks, the Pencillarium and co-owner of Left of the Lake Gallery and Magazine. 

Gallery hours are 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday and Thursday.
The Gallery on 16th exists as the creative exhibit space for the 16th Street Studios resident artists. It functions as a nonprofit entity supported by Arts Wisconsin and an Artseed Grant. For more information, call  262-637-3958 or email sixteenthstreetstudios@gmail.com.
