A display and sale of vintage Guatemalan textiles and contemporary crafts sponsored by MayaWorks will take place Friday and Saturday, December 8 and 9, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Wilson’s Coffee and Tea, 3306 Washington Ave

Proceeds will be used to provide scholarships for young Maya girls and counseling for adult victims of domestic abuse. 

MayaWorks is a fair trade, non-profit organization which has been offering employment, microcredit loans and business training to women artisans in the central highlands of Guatemala since 1996.
